August 10, 2018 – Vernon County Broadcaster –

This article’s author is Jay Ford Thurston, the Broadcaster’s trout fishing columnist.  He writes, It has always bothered me when I see people sitting at a table in a restaurant and they are engrossed in their cellphone. They are ignoring the conversation going on around them. I have never sat down at a restaurant with trout anglers and had anyone pull out a cellphone. It is not because they want to hear every word I have to say. They want to converse with you and ask about your trout fishing.

This reminds me of the quote, “Wherever you are, be there.”
